System requirements

Bopup Communication Server requires the following minimum system configuration:

  • 1 GHz processor or higher recommended
  • 512 MB RAM
  • 600 MB free disk space (*)
  • Microsoft Windows NT 4.0/2000/XP/2003/Vista/2008/7/2012/8/10/11 or later
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005/2008/2012/later or PostgreSQL/Postgres Pro version 9.x/10.x/11.x
  • Active Directory (LDAP) presence (optional)
  • Network connection configured for TCP/IP protocol (both IPv4 and IPv6 are supported)
  • Internet connection (optional)
* — Specified disk space is required if the product installed with built-in SQL server.

Bopup Communication Server requires Windows administrator rights to run the Setup Wizard and install the service. After installation the server can be run and managed under a non-administrator Windows account.
